You can use folders to organize your messages.
NOTE: POP does not support folders.
To work with folders:
The Mail Folders page appears.
To create a folder:
| 1. | On the Mail Folders page, click Create Folder.
A form for the new folder appears. |
| 2. | Enter the folder name. |
| 3. | Click OK. |
| The folder is created. |
To create subfolders within an existing folder:
| 1. | On the Mail Folders page, click Create Folder. |
| 2. |
Type the existing folder name, followed by a backslash (\) and the name of the subfolder. For example, if you have a folder called "Personal", and you want to create a subfolder called "Letters", type Personal\Letters. |
| 3. | Click OK. |
| The subfolder is created and is displayed by its full path name. |
To change the name of a folder:
| 1. | On the Mail Folders page, go to the folder you want to edit and click the icon in the Edit column.
The folder form appears. |
| 2. | Change the folder name. |
| 3. | Click OK. |
| The name of the folder is modified. | |
| NOTE:You cannot change the name of the Drafts, Inbox, SentMail, or Trash folders. |
To delete a folder:
| 1. | On the Mail Folders page, go to the folder you want to delete and click the icon in the Del column. |
| 2. | Click OK to confirmation folder deletion. |
| The folder disappears. | |
| NOTE:You cannot delete the Drafts, Inbox, SentMail, or Trash folders. |
To view folder messages:
The mail messages in that folder appear.
