POP Mail Options
If you have one or more mail accounts on other POP servers, you can configure WebEdge
to automatically transfer messages from those accounts to the WebEdge Inbox folder using the
POP polling process.
NOTE: This feature is available only if you have POP polling support.
You can configure up to four POP accounts to poll.
To configure POP accounts:

From the main menu, click Options. |

Click POP Mail.
The POP Mail page appears. |

Specify the information for the POP accounts you want to poll:
- POP Server Name--Enter the name of the POP server you want to access.
- POP User Name--Enter the account name on the POP server you specified.
- POP Password--Enter the password for the account name.
- Server Timeout--Enter the maximum number of seconds you want to wait for a response from the server.
- Server Port Number--Enter the number of the port on which you want to connect. The default is 110.
- Message Disposal--Check the box to leave messages on the POP server once it has been polled.
NOTE: If you leave messages on the server, they are downloaded with each polling attempt.

Your POP accounts are configured and ready to be polled.
You can poll POP accounts after you have configured one or more accounts on the POP Mail options page.
Your Administrator controls the Pop polling methods available to you. For more information, about the
various polling methods, contact your vendor.
To poll all of your configured POP accounts, do one of the following:
- Click Poll ALL Pop Accounts on the Inbox page
- Log in to WebEdge, which automatically polls your POP accounts unless a poll has occurred within the interval time
- Use an automatic background polling process
To selectively poll one or more of your configured POP accounts:

Click Poll Selected Pop Accounts.
The Poll Selected Pop Accounts page appears. |

Select one or more Pop Servers to poll. |
| 3. |
Click Poll Selected Accounts.
The system polls the selected Pop servers and places any polled messages into your Inbox. |
